    I hope to learn many things in this class, including how to effectively integrate technology into educational settings. I would also like to explore the different types of technologies used in classrooms and identify which ones are most effective for various learning styles. As I plan to become an educator in the future, I aim to apply what I learn in this class to designing and delivering instruction in classrooms. I intend to use the knowledge I gain to enhance the learning experiences of my future students, providing them with diverse opportunities through different educational technologies.

    My prior experience using technology in an educational setting includes working with platforms like Google Classroom, Zoom, and Quizlet. Since the pandemic, over 90% of my college classes have been online. I have discovered that I enjoy learning online and appreciate the various technologies available to support my learning. Educational technology is diverse and offers many capabilities, making learning more dynamic and enjoyable for me. Over the past few years, I have gained ample experience using different technologies in my studies.

    As a communications and media studies major, I enjoy learning about communication technologies, techniques, and various forms of media. I am particularly interested in social media and mental health, largely due to my internship with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Florida. Some online learning resources I regularly use to support my learning needs and goals include online forums and educational chat rooms. Offline, I often turn to my peers for information. These resources and tools have significantly impacted my growth as a student and an aspiring educator.
